Ever seen an owl up close? If you haven’t this is a wonderful opportunity! Come check out a few of Atwood’s birds of prey. Atwood is an environmental park that allows for hiking, biking, and takes care of injured birds of prey. Come and see the birds up close and personal. Learn about how these birds were injured, how we take care of them, and all about their life. We will also discuss what unique adaptations these animals have, how they hunt and survive in the wild, and what we can do to help protect them. Cost is $5 per person. All those in attendance will be charged. Sign up with Jennifer Kuss at 815-316-1572. Deadline for sign-up is Wednesday, March 11.
