Amanda Gray, Resident Services Manager at Peterson Meadows, was awarded a Golden Cross prize from the Council on Older Adult Ministries, a part of the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church. The Golden Cross is a $1,000 cash prize that is awarded to nominees that display excellence in the field of Senior care.

Six years ago, Amanda began her career with Seniors as a Life Enrichment Associate at Wesley Willows. She was then promoted and transitioned to Peterson Meadows, where she has served Seniors for more than 2 years. Amanda is not only committed to compassionate care, but uses her personal talent as an artist to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association of Illinois by donating a painting (completed live!) at the annual Unforgettable Art event

Melissa Wright, Director of Peterson Meadows, says that,  “Amanda is the driving force behind all engagement opportunities for residents, both on and off campus.” The Peterson Meadows and Wesley Willows family is fortunate to have her and thrilled to share her success.
