Wesley Willows has announced some surprise ticket discounts for its 52nd Annual Box Office Benefit and an extension of the ticket purchasing deadline. An individual ticket, which previously costed $60, is now only $50. You can also purchase one ticket and get a second ticket at half price, equaling a total of $75 for two tickets. This offer will remain available through the new ticket purchasing deadline of Monday, July 29, 2024.

These deals provide further incentive to get tickets for what is sure to be an unforgettable event for an excellent cause.

About the Box Office Benefit

The Box Office Benefit will take place on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Rock Valley College Starlight Theatre (3301 N Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61114). Pre-show festivities will start at 1:00 pm, and the curtain will rise on the feature presentation of Newsies: The Musical at 2:00 pm.

For the past two decades, the Wesley Willows organization has partnered with Rock Valley College Starlight Theatre to host the annual benefit. The main attraction of the event is a special matinee performance of one of the theatre’s excellent shows. This year’s performance will be the pulse-pounding and inspirational Broadway Musical, Newsies. The event will also feature opportunities to meet the cast, bid on raffle baskets, purchase concessions, and more.

All proceeds from the event will support residents of Wesley Willows and its sister community, Peterson Meadows, who have outlived their financial resources. The not-for-profit organization provides this support through donations to its Good Samaritan and Peterson Meadows Endowment Funds.

“We are excited to be able to offer tickets at this discounted rate,” says Wesley Willows Vice President of Advancement Jeff Reinke. “The Box Office Benefit is such a fun event and means so much to our residents and their families. We look forward to seeing the theatre full of happy and generous people on August 4th.”

The Wesley Willows and Peterson Meadows communities would like to thank everyone who purchases a ticket or donates to the organization’s charitable funds. The event would not be possible without the additional support of 36 corporate partners.
