Wesley Willows is the FIRST senior living community in Illinois to have Obie Projectors!

Improve Your Residents Well-Being with OBIE Projection Game System

It has been proven that when seniors are engaged in high quality, active play-based experiences they feel better about their physical capabilities and improve their willingness to communicate.

OBIE will help your residents with:

  • Encouraging movement
  • Cognitive activity
  • Social interaction with other residents

With OBIE being mounted on the ceiling and runs automatically, it does not require any additional staffing. There is nothing to take, break, pick up or clean making it germ free.

What is OBIE?

Obie is a highly advanced interactive projector gaming console that projects custom-made games on different surfaces (e.g. floors, walls and tabletops) allowing users to engage in active play using body movements, hand-eye coordination tactics, and by touching displayed images. Obie works with advanced optical sensors, and does not require any joystick, controller or wearable device to operate.

The four Obie Projectors are located in:

  • Willows Arbor
  • Kirk’s Place
  • Memory Wellness Center
  • Peterson Meadows Community Room

To discover all of OBIE’s possibilities contact a member of the team:

Obie uses next-generation projection technology to create an interactive playground anywhere.
